Sectionals schedule was received yesterday. The Sectional tournament has been changed from Clinton to Kennedy Arena in Rome. The schedule is:

The top two teams out of this tournament will advance to State competition in Camillus on March 12-14. Please make sure all players are mentally ready, and at the rink an hour before the scheduled game time.
We also have been invited to a tournament in Bethlehem March 20-21. An informational form will be sent out, canvassing for interest. Please return the form to me as soon as possible.

Congratulations to the Squirts for a fine performance at Pre-Sectionals in Rome. The Squirts won 4 out of 5 games this weekend, beating their opponents by a total of 25 goals for and 11 against, and outshooting the opponents by a total of 122-67. The players should be very proud of their team performance. They passed well, and played hard, and gave the parents a weekend to be extremely proud of.

Tentative schedule is in for Pre-Sectionals in Rome. This is still subject to change, as ice times may need to be adjusted at the Kennedy Arena in Rome. Keep watching for updates. The top two teams coming out of this tournament will advance to sectionals in Clinton.
Thanks for bearing with me while I experienced technical difficulties with the old web server. The fellow who owns this new server lives here in town, but his servers are in Las Vegas and Houston. Hopefully this will last more than the 9 months that the last server was operational. Feel free to visit the main Biscardifamily page, and check out some new updates. Please have patience while I work to fix some broken links....and some of the counters need to be rewritten.
Several more difficult games ahead....but this should keep us on point for Sectional play. Doubleheader on Saturday, and a road trip the following weekend....

Back from beautiful Southeastern Connecticut with the "Terrific Ten". The scores don't indicate how well the kids played, and they showed a lot of heart being short on the bench for the weekend. Thanks to our guest Matt M, who played an awesome 3 games, and seemed to fit right in. We had a great weekend, and hope to make a return appearance next year if possible. The Seahawks were gracious hosts, and ran a super tournament, considering this was their first annual Christmas tourney.
Thanks also to Mrs. Lupini, and Mr. Smith for all the setup and arrangements for both the tourney and the hotel. Excellent job.....

Also, be prepared in case there is a gate fee...last year it was around $20. The new Community Center (Allyn Rink), has a great snack bar, a pool and water play area, and is a good place to hang out for a while.

Pictures will be taken at practice on Friday, Nov 21. New photographer this year, and the packages look very good. For details, look at the postings at the rink. Also, everyone should have gotten a sheet with pricing details.
There are a few changes to the schedule. Look for the
"updated" graphic on the web page. As soon as we confirm our tournaments, I will distribute new schedules, but look here as the main source of info.
Thanks to all who helped me grieve my
50th trip around the sun...You folks are all very special to us, and we enjoy our "hockey family" almost as much as our own families. Anything that helps us get thru the long CNY winters is greatly appreciated. Thanks from all the Biscardis.
